I had the opportunity to render and add the finishing touches to a personal animation project by Michael Paler, Lead Animator at Altered FX.
My task was to take the animation from final playblast to final render. I did not want to add anything too stark that took away from the existing animation which worked super well on its own.
Instead I focused on creating procedural effects that breathed life into the background, such as rain, tools for environment generation and background explosions. The project helped to improve my use of geometry nodes and allowed me to experiment with methods of speeding up workflows.
